Why Ecology, Arts, & Technology?

By coordinating lucid communication and direct interaction between these educational and creative outlets RUST-E seeks to foster the contemplation and creation of more ecologically responsible technologies and approaches to the creative process. Through cross-fertilization of these fields and hands-on education RUST-E breaks through the boundary that states nature and technology are enemies. Through encouraging this dialogue between artists, musicians, educators, businesses, non-profits, and urban dwellers RUST-E hopes to inspire art and technology that challenges the consumer/observer to think about sustainable solutions to our unsustainable and destructive legacy.
