Radically Urban Sustainable Technology - Exploration

RUST-E is an organization founded to help foster the growth of arts and invention for sustainable solutions to our rising global dilemma with regards to climate change. RUST-E aims to facilitate a conversation of technology and sustainability through creative critical action. We seek to use technology in a positive way, exploring the social responsibilities of urban sustainable evolution. RUST-E creates an open dialog with ecology, allowing conversation between technology and nature with sustainability as its motive. RUST-E seeks to educate, and inspire humans to re-articulate our global awareness, through the art of "techno-ecology."

Earth Hour@ Resource Yard

Rust-E will host several lo-fi workshops for this event, including Lemon Light LED Art, Beeswax Candle workshop, Experimental Music Jam, plus other green art from our members on display. Check out the fun Saturday March 27th 5pm - 9pm.

Cultural impact of "climate change"

As we try to re-articulate our global awareness and social responsibilities regarding environmental policy and practice. How do we correct our destruction of the term "global warming?" How do we deal with "green washing" of products or the industrial organic culture?

New media, experimental electronic arts and sustainable technology exploration are at the core of RUST-E solutions. To catalyst a new way of thinking we encourage artist, inventors and theorists to target the public with the right messages through new media. RUST-E also aims to encourage the exploration and experimentation of sustainable and experimental technologies, we believe it is extremely important if we seek to find a solution to these growing global issues of human environmental impact.
